This registry is wrecking my head.
So exciting, but at the same time very overwhelming. I know it's hard to get everything right especially because a lot depends on baby- just don't want to make the same mistakes we made with our bridal registry (still haven't used the espresso maker  )
It's also freaking me out on how expensive babies are, holy moly!!

Is there anything that us BTDT moms can help you with? I remember going into BRU for the first time after I was pregnant. I called up my BF crying because I was so overwhelmed!

It's very overwhelming and you will most likely change your mind 100X weeks, even months after first going into the store.
What I did was, went into the store for the big ticket items so I can see them, hold the stroller and see how heavy it was, etc.. and then the smaller stuff I did on-line or I went back another day without DH and just took my time looking around.
Get the Baby Bargains Book, it's a good reference but don't only go by that either, try to do a search on here from BTDT Mom's and also ask someone in the store to help you. At BBB we had someone with us the entire time and spent about 2 hours with DH and I.
Good luck and try to have fun with it

I know the feeling. We went to BBB last w/e and after spending 3 hours just looking at strollers, I was done!

I personally think no matter what you do a registry is personal...no matter what mom's say worked for them, you never know what will work for you and your child..
For example people register for expensive travel systems, then their baby comes and only wants to sit in an umbrella stroller (happened to a girl I Know lol)
Same with bottles and diapers. you will have to in the end do what works for you.
I personally think most of it is going to be trial and error.
I bought the baby bargains book and supposedly that's good to help w/ a registry...
