Does anyone else watch So You Think You Can Dance?
Am I the only one that CANNOT STAND Mia Michaels????
She makes it extremely difficult for me to enjoy this show...

I cannot stand her. I think she's pretentious and too cool for school among other things. She thinks she is the best thing that has EVER happened.

I used to watch it but I can't stand the hostess (I forgot her name). Theres something about her that bothers me, and she's not as pretty as she thinks she is either.

I only saw a couple of episodes here and there but I am totally with you on this one! The hostess is SUPER annoying: from her stupid, overly exaggerate accent to her busted face, there is nothing about her that doesn't make me tick. She is the main reason I don't watch that show more often.

Awww....I really like Kat Deeley!
I have to say though.....I'm having a hard time getting into the new format. I know it makes for a shorter season and you get to really see what each contestant can do, but I was much more into it every other season before this one.

I'm definitely liking the break from Mary, although I wish she was a choreographer this year.
Mia... eh. I can't deny she has a talent for choreography and she doesn't annoy me as much as Mary but last night that comment about being sorry about the decision they made last week... Uncalled for. She was mean last year as a guest judge and I think everyone's right that she's full of herself.
Kat Deeley...  Her shtick seems "off" this year for some reason, I don't know what it is. But I usually find her genuine, adorable and honestly caring about the contestants. I love that she doesn't use a stylist and buys her own outfits every week and that even glammed up, her fingernails are short like a boy and unpainted.

I guess I should have read this thread before I vented about Mia on your other thread 
I usually love Kat, but I have noticed that the way she stands when she is announcing the next dancer is weird. She poses very awkwardly with her legs at odd angles.  She also does this thing where she laughs like this  after announcing the next dancer, like she is laughing at something in the audience or the judges. Either way, it just looks goofy.
I also notice that she picks at her fingers / nails when asking the judges for their review of the dancers. One hand is holding the mic, the other hand is messing with her cuticles. I think that is why she hugs the dancers, because she has a nervous habit

Both Mia & Mary need to be filtered.
There is some useful constructive critcism in there somewhere when they aren't putting on the character they've created for themselves--Mary's screaming lunatic or Mia's snotty "can't relate to the world" artistic genius.
I love Adam- He's over the top, but I get the sense that it's genuine.
I thought Mary was supposed to choreograph at some point this season.
Cat seems bored with herself this season.

Mia is Mia - she has her moments in my book. I still wish she was with the dancers iso of a judge, her routines are beautiful 
Im still not liking the new format this season. It does not give the dancers enough time to grow.

I dunno. I like Cat, and Mia. I find it much more bearable to watch the show without Mary's screams.
But i thought the show last night was great. Alex & Twitch!! Phenomenal!!!
And i like Kent too...but i can see how the dopeyness can get annoying fast.
I think Melinda is going to be voted off tonight...and i wouldnt be surprised if all of the girls are voted off before any of the guys are.

I really find her genuine and down-to-earth.
Ehhh, Mia definately thinks she is all that. Probably because she is a fantastic choreographer. But still. It does get annoying and I preferred her being a choreographer and guest judge over being a judge f/t.

I agree about Kent. And Mia did make that point too--so she isn't useless all the time!
I agree about the girls going, if it was just left up to votes, but I don't know if the judges will let that happen.
They might cut Jose if he is in the bottom & it was down to 1 or 2 girls.
I really like Lauren & Ashley, but Ashley is probably better.

I'm kind of p*ssed off about the whole Jose thing. They give everyone else notes about their technique to the point that they're telling them they have sway backs or pidgeon toes. But they say with Jose it just doesn't matter? It's such bs. I'd be pretty p*ssed if I was a contestant. Between him, the favorite boys Billy Bell and Alex Wong, then Opie (Kent) it must be hard to be a non-favorite!
I agree that I think the tapper is gone, no big surprise. I hate to say this, because I appreciate her talent, but I just think it's an old fashioned style that people just don't relate to anymore. Besides, she's not that great in other styles anyway.

I don't get the whole Jose thing either. Did they change the name of the show to "So You Think You Can Smile?" He just isn't that talented and not that interesting.
Alex Wong all the way!! I super love watching him dance.
