I highly recommend Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun. This was my favorite vacation resort. It's all-inclusive too, if that's something you were looking for. We stayed in a roof-top terrace room, which was unbelievable, but I'm not sure if it would be as practical in March since the roof-top pools are not heated. Def check it out on TripAdvisor though.

*I would go to St. Maarten bc of those it is the only one I have not been. Actually never been to DR either, but I would still do SM of the options you named.
Which of those have you not been, if anh?

Barbados! The people are so friendly and its the type of place we felt so comfortable going out into the towns! They have such beautiful beaches too! And the food is excellent!

If money wasn't a factor, I would choose Barbados. Cancun and DR are the least expensive of the bunch, but still really nice.

Also, are you going with your kids? If so, I would definitely say Aruba! It's safe, the weather is always gorgeous, always a constant breeze, not too much, just enough to subside the heat somewhat, great restaurants, family island!

I'd say Aruba or St. Marteen...and I would reccommend Divi resorts at either. The Divi in Aruba is all inclusive, and the beach is exclusive to the guests of the hotel. It wasn't overcrowded, and we went on a February break. You can take the bus anywhere on the island, for like $1.50, so there's no need to rent a car!

I loved Barbados. We stayed at this AI resort, which was low-key and perfect for us. Direct Jet Blue flights are also a bonus.

Rainy season in DR, so that's not advisable.
Aruba is temperate year round.
Check out the weather conditions for your other destinations.

Another one for Aruba, but I do love St Marteen too
Not a fan of the DR. You can't go outside the resort and the food is eh.
