Does the NT scan have 2 parts????
I went for my NT scan last week, everything looked great. I had it done at Good Sam Hospital, anyway, they told me I needed to come back between 16-18 weeks for another test that is more blood work and another sono.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I actually am not sure if its part of the NT test or a different test all together.
Does anyone know about another test that they give between 16-18 weeks?

For me it was bloodwork and sono at the same appt. The only thing I had done at 16w was the AFP test.

Yes, they did this at my appt as well. I had it done at Good Sam also at the Maternal Fetal Medicine office, I thought maybe that was just how they did it. 
I do believe they did a second sono on me as well.

Yup mine will be two parts. I am going at 17 weeks for more blood work for the 2nd part.

I had one Sono at 12 weeks and the finger prick, then had some blood taken at 17 weeks.

yes, mine was two parts- sono/blood at 12 weeks at the hospital and then blood at 16 weeks- then they combine the results to give you your chances of downs, tri 13 and spinal defects
my results took 4 weeks from the last test  but that doesnt seem to be the norm

OK thank you guys so much. Yes I will be delivering at Good Sam. I guess it is normal to go back and hey I get to see my baby again in 2 weeks

I had blood taken and a sono at 12 weeks. For my 16 weeks apt, they only took blood as the 2nd part.

yes i had a long sono13w6d at one appt and then the other appt was just blood 15w5d
