newborn outside in the heat?
my son will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. I have taken him out all the time but never really kept him outside in the afternoon just to and from the car, stores, friends houses ect.. we are going to a bbq this weekend. if its a hot day is it bad for him to be outside? do i only keep him out for a little and stay in the house most of the time? TIA

Depends...if hot like today, I would try to limit outdoor exposure. I think the forecast for the weekend is not this hot so you should be fine.

ITA!
My MIL watches DD on Monday's (she's 17 months old though), but I did ask her this morning, not to take her outside today.
I know the 2 days a week I send DD to daycare, on days like today they keep the kids indoors.

Re: newborn outside in the heat?
I took DS out on the balcony, put him in his rocker.
To test it out, he turned bright red, and started getting very lethargic. I didn't like that reaction on him.
I think over 90 heat index is too much for them.
