Romantic Marriott?
Hello!
I'm trying to get honeymoon ideas. I'd LOVE to do Sandals. In fact Sandals St. Lucia would be my dream, but we just can't afford it.
Fortunately FH has a ton of MArriott points (thank you, Accenture!) so we can stay 5-7 nights at any Marriott.
So far the only ones that look romantic are Hwaii and we just can't afford hat airfare.
Did anyone honeymoon at a Marriott in the caribbean and have any feedback?

marriott aruba and the st thomas marriott are amazing! You can't go wrong with a marriott IMO.

I didn't honeymoon there but, the one in Aruba is really nice.
I've heard from friends that the one in St Kitts is really nice as well.

We stayed at a Marriott In San Jose, Costa Rica. GORGEOUS and ROMANTIC.
You can do many day trips from there too as I'm not too sure there is much to see or do in San Jose.
Costa Rica is amazing!

Ditto to Costa Rica!! We stayed at the Marriot Los Suenos and it was AMAZING!!! Omg one of my fav vaca's ever!

I think you can use marriott points at Ritz Carleton's and their are a couple in the Caribbean (St Thomas and St Croix especially) that look amazing!! Not sure it it will cost you more in points but worth looking into.

I think if you want romantic, I would lean definitely towards St. Kitts first, then Aruba Marriott! I feel like in St. Kitts, not as many kids as in Aruba, but it depends on when you go!
