In my defense, I am on progesterone which I heard makes you bloat up more!! (at least that's what I tell myself to help me sleep at nigh!)

I am 35w and am up 25lbs, moo.
Um, I guess I'm moo-ing right along with you b/c I'm 31 weeks and up 23 lbs!!
Whatever, I think I look fine!
I dont think that I have gained too much but the only people who ever post on these threads are the "I am 40+weeks with twins and I actually lost 4lbs, and I still have a six pack"
So, even though it kills me, I try to post on them too just in case there are girls out there like me!

Re: Spinoff: With all of this talk of weight gain...
ladies are simply answering the question.
if we all put a disclaimer at the bottom you may find that some (like me) were horribly awful sick in the beginning (for 5 months) and lost a lot of weight. The Dr only counts up from what you started at. or were overweight to begin with and if they gained 40 lbs instead of 15 there would be big problems. or that some were a size minus 0 and gained 50 big deal, they and the baby need that weight right now.
I certainly do not look like I've only gained 11, I look like I've gained 40!
Its all relative, no need for anyone to feel bad about any number...

Re: Spinoff: With all of this talk of weight gain...
27 weeks - 17 pounds. I gained 5lbs in the past 2 weeks and my doctor said I need to "watch it". I just don't know WHY I gained those 5lbs. I have really been watching what I eat!

I agree. I didn't make this post to make others feel bad. No one should feel bad about gaining weight while pregnant.
Personally, my OB set a limit on how much weight he wanted me to gain... 20lbs absolute maximum (which can give you an idea of where I was weight-wise before I got pregnant). I've gained 8lbs and he says I'm right where he wants me to be (I'm 30 weeks).
So unless your Dr. is expressing concern regarding your weight gain, I wouldn't give it a second thought.
