Is your household filled with Disney, PBS, or Nick JR viewers?
DH & I fight over this all the time. He likes all things Disney, and I like Nick Jr.
I suspect he just likes seeing that Ashley Tisdale chick, but that's another story

The newest torture tactic on the war against terrorism should be watching Elmo's World.
I swear that voice turns me into a ticking time bomb. All of a sudden I get nutty, have to stop and wonder what the hell is going on...oh freaking elmo and mr noodles are on.
Elmo needs to go back to 1985, barely there.

Lately it's Disney on Demand b/c DD likes Phineas and Ferb and DS likes the Spiderman and Ironman cartoons on Disney XD.

DD is not much of a TV person who DS gets to watch what he likes. He likes Disney because of Phineas & Ferb, Kick Buttowicki, etc. But if I put any of the other channels on he will usually watch what is on.

It's funny--with respect to some of the other childrens' programming out there, I don't mind having this on at all.
We're a Sprout family. I plan to keep it that way for as long as humanly possible.
My nephews (9 and 6) are in town right now, and we were watching some of the Nick Jr. shows. I was really at what I was seeing. There was no end to the bathroom humor and plenty of other things that I wouldn't want my kids watching.
I honestly miss the old days of Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street. My 18 month-old DD's favorite show is Play with Me Sesame. She loves it...we love it...everyone's happy.
