Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
1. Are they worth the $$$
2. Is it worth driving to the outlets to get one or just order.
3. If you answer to number 1 was NO please rec your rug, keepin mind I'm looking for a large area rug NOT just something to cover the middle of the room (his room is big too so atleast a 5' 8')
I need help,I have been wanting to get him a rug forever and I don't mind spending $$$ if it is a good one

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
We have two: a wool one and a chenille one. I like them both but the wool one still sheds (not as much as it did initially) and it's 3 yrs old. The chenille one does not shed and is sooo much softer. If I had to do it again, i would've gotten two chenille rugs. As for the outlet, we paid $300 for the wool one (bought it at the regular store). The chenille one we bought at an outlet store in PA and paid about $130. Both are 5x8. I would definitely check the outlet if you are near it or maybe you could call to see what rugs they have.

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
Mine is in great shape and I've had it for almost two years now. IMO they are worth the money!
I've also seen some cute ones at Bellini's

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
I don't have a PBK rug, because they didn't have anything that went with the bedding I got from there-- but I do have a PB rug in my LR and I am happy with it.
But, I did scour the internet to find a rug to match Sasha's bedding and I found a Mary Kate & Ashely rug on Rosenberry Rooms-- but then I found it on rugstudio.com for much cheaper-- AND you can always find a coupon code. I am very happy with the rug-- they have nice brands and kid room options.

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
I have 2 kids rugs and 1 regular rug from them and are happy with all of them.
It is worth it to got o the outlet - the rug prices are really good! The selection is hit or miss, but if they have what you are looking for you can save tons. Last time I was there, they had current styles and discontinued styles.

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
I have to agree with the shedding comment. DD's wool rug definitely sheds. If you sit on it with dark colored pants, it looks like you have been playing with a dog! But I do love the look of the rug. To me it was worth the $$.

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Rugs
I hate my PB rug. I love the way it looks, but as soon DS plays on it, I have to go wash him off. It annoys the crap out of me, and I spent so much money.
