DH and I and another couple are going to Newport next weekend and it looks like there are tons of places to eat. So, in an effort to narrow down the choices, does anyone have any recommendations?
TIA!

We went there last summer, and oddly enough, I'm using the bag today that I had there...so there are a couple cards in there from places we went!

Went to dinner at The Mooring, and 22 Bowen's. From what I remember, both were great.

Definitely eat at the Red Parrot, it is fantastic. Its usually busy in the summer so make a reservation well in advance.

I second the recommendation for 22 Bowens, great steaks!

Thanks ladies, so we just made a reservation at The Mooring and I'm so excited! One more question, I was looking at the menu for 22 Bowen and it also looks sooooo good (truffle mac n cheese!) But I'm wondering if its similar to The Mooring? We are only there for 2 nights so I wanted to get as much as a full experience as possible....

The Mooring is a must! It was the best meal we had while we were there.

Castle Hill does a really nice brunch and after you're done eating you can go sit outside with a drink and watch the boats. Atlantic Beach Club is also a fun place to go for either lunch or dinner. It's right on the beach.
