From what I've seen, if a town has one, you have to be a resident of the town to use it.
Here are a couple of others, I know nothing about them though. But if you look on www.njplaygrounds.com, they do list parks and such on their website (We were talking about this on Sunday right?)
Dorbrook Recreation Area - Colts Neck, NJ
Sprinkler Park, Union City, NJ
Also looks like there are a couple in Hoboken too.

The one in Colts Neck is really nice. I went down there with my dad since they don't live too far from there last year.
I am not a resident, and there wasn't anyone there checking, so I assume it is open to anyone.

we have two that I know of in Hoboken... but I don't think you are close and parking is a major PITA here.

This looks awesome! Where is Colts Neck? I don't know of any sprinkler parks near me (not sure where you are) but there's a pool in Westfield that has an awesome sprinkler area for kids. And it has the rubber bottom which I love. I know you pay to get in, but I've only gone with friends who are members. I'm not sure if you can just pay and get in.

Colts Neck is further south from us. You'd most likely get off at exit 109 on the GSP and take back roads for a little while to get there. Very nice area.

that's VERY close to us...(westfield) - less than 10 minutes!
and randy - hoboken is about 20-25 minutes - that's not bad at all....
mich - i have to check out that website!
