Can we talk Nanny responsibilities and salaries?

I'm hoping you can answer some questions for me! Trying to figure out what's "fair" salary wise when hiring our nanny.

1. How many days a week does your nanny work?

2. What are her hours?

3. What do her responsibilities include?

4. How many children does she care for?

5. Is she paid weekly/hourly?

6. How much does she make a week (on average)?

7. How do you work out vacation days? Or time off that DC have off from school?

2. What are her hours? 8-5

3. What do her responsibilities include? - caring for the kids, feeding, dressing, playing, bringing them to the park, entertaining, and put their laundry away, tidies up the toys - Not her stated responsiblity but she organizes all there clothes segregates the small ones and puts them in the storage bins, empties the dishwasher if needed. She goes above and beyond what we ask.

4. How many children does she care for? - 2

5. Is she paid weekly/hourly? - Her salary is based upon an hourly rate but if she leaves early we don't reduce her pay. On the occassion when she stays a little late we don't pay extra but if it is more than an hour we would pay her.

6. How much does she make a week (on average)? - I will fm

7. How do you work out vacation days? Or time off that DC have off from school? - On my days off from work she gets off and we pay her; we give her 2 weeks vacation. She is always willing to switch around whatever day she has off during the week.
