Annoyed at booking agent

We booked a trip for later this year and someone it got booked for us to fly out the day after we intended even though all our hotels etc are booked for the right day. I just noticed this today and called the booking agent right away who told me tough luck and they wouldnt do anything to change the flight to the day before. I am so infuriated by their attitude, they didnt even apologize or attempt to help out. It's late now but I am hoping to have better luck with the travel insurance company or the airline themselves. After the stressful day this was the last thing I needed.

If you have travel insurance, I would call the airline directly and try to speak to them, they might be more helpful then the stupid agent who booked it! Good luck, if worse comes to worse, you should just be able to pay a change fee, usually $75pp plus the cost of the difference in air, but if you do it now, the air might be the same and who knows, they might be nice and waive your change fee! I wouldn't wait long to do this!
