Where would you go.......
Looking for an overnight destination between LI and Albany for a group of families with children. Could be a family resort type place or not. A pool would be a plus but an B&B (that allows families)might work to. Any ideas??? I'm drawing a blank.

A little past Albany but Lake George is awesome for families--love it.
Also used to go to Saugteriees every memorial day for an Irish fair as a kid--cute town. Woodstock is nice also

Rocking Horse Ranch in Highland, NY
It's in the Poconos, but I heard Great Wolf Lodge is really fun for families.
