Ok, now I want this baby out on its own.UPDATE PG 2
I just got a call for my induction, they said they don't have room until the 26th. It is with the doctor that 'scolded' me when I had called the number on my caller ID back, when I was pregnant with DS and had test results come back. She told me that I wasn't supposed to call her home number. (Idiot, don't call me from it then.) She was then the doctor that proceeded to tell me that my results for DS showed he had Trisomy 18, he was not a viable pregnancy, and I should terminate. This was after I had already lost my first child-so it made it that much harder to hear.
This was all before I had ever met her (and still haven't-and refuse to). I have avoided her like the plague, and now, she will be the doctor that does the induction. Lovely.
Seriously, the one doctor that I truly didn't want delivering my children, will be, if this kid doesn't come on its own. I am 2-3 cm dilated now, and praying this kid comes out on his/her own. 
eta: The nurse also told me I need to come in for another appointment to meet this doctor because I haven't yet. I told her I couldn't, I would be working. She said she would call me back. I was like, you do that.

Okay well first you have 6 days to go on your own, so I am sending vibes 
Also, I would've told them you're not comfortable with that doctor. That's BS if u have to do this with someone that makes u so uncomfortable. That can't be good for your stress level.
Hang in there...maybe your LO will know you don't want the induction and make an appearance beforehand.

I don't believe I have a choice in picking another doctor. The practice has like 15 doctors, and whomever is on rotation that day, delivers the baby. You have no choice.
I tried asking for Monday or Tuesday, they had no beds available for induction.

I'm so sorry I actually just read your thread about that last night when I did a search for that pratice because I was considering going to them. you go sooner so you get a different doctor

It is group of doctors that I see, so I never see the same one for the whole pregnancy.
DH is trying to get me to call back and tell them to make it another day. But then I fear that this nurse is best buddies with this particular doctor I hate, will refuse to change the date, and then tell this doctor. They'll make my life even more miserable.

I remember your story and I used to use that practice and think I remember what doc it is.
If this were ME, I'd definitely ask for a different date....and if they ask why, I'd personally state that you'd prefer not to use that doctor if it can be avoided. I'm sure you're not the only one who has ever had issues with a doctor...I definitely prefer some over others.

yeah, see I wouldn't want the doctor I dislike doing my delivery...you can't guarantee things will be routine and if for some reason they go wrong I wouldn't want her in charge of making the big decisions.
how about some evening primrose oil?

I just called trying to see if they'll change the date, the lady sounded a little ticked off that she had to do more work. She said she'll call me back.
My luck is that they'll change the date, and I'll go into labor on Wednesday anyway.
