Can somebody explain to me... (BTDT moms)
What is the Ultimate Crib Sheet? I dont get the description on BRU website. Does it go over the mattress but under the fitted sheet or over the fitted sheet? Do you recommend it?
Thanks in advance

It goes over the fitted sheet, and I think it zippers off.
Regular fitted sheets are a HUGE PITA to change.
You basically have to lift the whole mattress out in order to change the sheets and then ram the mattress with the new sheet in, and they typically make the mattresses really snug against the crib railings so it's impossible, even worse if you use bumpers.
It takes me a good 10-15 minutes to change a sheet and I work up a good sweat!

Yes, it's quite difficult. And if you choose to use bumper guards (even the breathable ones), it's even harder.
We don't have the Ultimate Crib Sheet, and I'm dreading the first time I have to change DS's sheets in the middle of the night due to an accident or sickness.

I bought the ultimate crib sheet since I had heard such good things about it, but personally i thought it was a PITA to change! It has snaps all around it that snap onto the rails on the crib and it was really hard to get to the back of the crib (against the wall)to snap the sheet on. I couldnt imagine having to snap all the snaps on and off just to change it.
Personally I didnt think taking the mattress out was so bad in comparison and we have breathable bumpers also. We DO have a foam mattress which from what I hear is much lighter then a coil one so that could be why. Also, I could change my mind once I start changing the sheets for real after DS os born.
BUT for now...I think I am going to return the ultimate crib sheet. It was $20 and I would need at least 2 or 3 if I was going to use them.

I do reccommend it b/c It saves time if your LO gets sick in the middle of the night or just in general. Or if poop comes out the back of the diaper or any type on potty accident on the sheet, It saves time and its fast. They don't wash well though I've gone through 2 of thema fter they got ruined in the wash. You have to wash delicate adn air dry them. They go over fitted sheeta dn attach to crib with elastic.
