Printing out your own invite

Has anyone printed out their own invites? I am ordering Reilly's bday cards (when the time comes) and the person is sending me a digital copy of the invite and I print it myself. If you've done this or have printed your own invites, what kind of papers do you use? There will be a photo on it so I don't think I can use cardstock it would be more like photo paper right? But a thick one? If anyone can help!! Thanks...

Re: Printing out your own invite

its up to you- cardstock or photo paper.

Do you have a good printer at home?
Printing something like that can take up lots of ink and be costly.

I normally upload them to winkflash.com
and do the photocard 5x7 (comes with envelopes) and cost is .35 each.

They do have cardstock as well.
Shipped within a few days.

Re: Printing out your own invite

DH usually designs everything we do and we print through vistaprint. Great quality and with a coupon code it's usually cheaper than if we printed them ourselves (buying paper/ink, etc).

ITA! The ink is really going to add up $$$. I suggest vistaprint also or another printing company.

I print mine at Costco. They have always come out beautiful!! You just have to then go buy the envelopes.

With the digital file, you can upload and print it anywhere! Shop around for codes online or sign up with a new company and often you'll get XX free prints. :)
