I've seen them at hobby shops too as well as the other stores OP have mentioned.
I also got some on Ebay.

I saw them at the 50% off card store in Oceanside and thought they were funky rubber bands. Up by the register.

The Four Star here in Sayville actually has a giant sign that says "We have Silly Bandz!" because of their popularity. My younger son is still crazy about them. My older son only like 'particular' kinds. I don't get it at all.

Yeah.. I plan to support Noah's habit with the imposters to be completely honest! We bought a few at the 4 star.. but next stop Dollar Tree for the cheapo type!
