Shameless Mothers day Post!
I am constantly judging myself wondering if I'm doing a good enough job. I don't give myself enough credit.
Today- b/c it's Mother's day (and b/c I really need to stop being so hard on myself) I would like to say that:
I am a wonderful mother to my children!!!!
Even if I do my best everyday, somedays are just better than others.
I have the best kids in the world.... even if 2 out of 4 are crappy sleepers. They are MINE and I wouldn't have it any other way.
This mothers day although I am proud of myself for having the patience to be a sahm to 3 under 3- I'm very proud of myself for having the patience to teach my older daughter how to cook. I have to say that this has really made me feel special and has given me great satisfaction.
Your turn to brag and share why you are the WORLDS GREATEST MOM!
(I'm hoping to see lots of replies!!! )

Awwww! Happy Mother's Day Cakes!!!!! Carolyn, I do not know how you do it but you have four beautiful girls and should be very proud!
My first Mother's Day actually hit me last night as I was taking Nolan out of his bath. He was all drippy wet and I told him tomorrow will be our first Mother's Day and all because of you and I just started crying and thanking him for making me a mommy, his mommy. He is my greatest joy, my greatest accomplishment, my greatest companion! I love him so much. More than words will ever say. Everything he does makes me feel like I'm doing a great job! Even when he has his "moments", they pass so quickly in my mind because his sweet smile makes everything good. Because of him, I am... a Momma! 
Happy Mother's Day to my mommy friends... new and old!

you guys are make me get all teary!! I am a great mom because I'm raising DD to be a beautiful little girl! At 2 she has (some) manners, I think she shares pretty well, and she just loves to have fun! I like to think that I've had some part in this :) I'd say that I'm a good role model for my daughter too.

I'm a good mom because I tell me girls every single day (actually multiple times a day) that I love them and smother them with kisses and hugs every chance I get. I don't want them to ever grow up and wonder if I love them, I hope they will know I do very much.

I am great because I have some how survived the last 3 years with no sleep! I have children who are terrible sleepers and thus, I get none either!

I will share too:
i am a good Mommy....no make that a GREAT Mommy because:
I tell DS that I love him all the time! Hearing it everyday is important I think!
I hug him A LOT!! Affection is SO important!
I try my very hardest to not fight with DH in front of DS....that is an awful thing to grow up witnessing and I never want that for him! We DISCUSS (sometimes loudly) but try very hard to not yell!
I work really hard at my job (FT) so I can help provide him a house with a yard where we live close to all of our family.....that is super important to me although sadly we don't see any of them nearly as much as I wished for him.

That is so sweet!
I'm a great mom because, well, I love the hell out of my beautiful DD. She is my WORLD. I shower her with kisses and hugs constantly and tell her she is the best little baby EVER. I am constantly upbeat and happy...and I think that rubs off on her and makes her the happiest baby in the world! I sing to her all the time and I read a book every time she goes down for a nap and when it's time to sleep for the night. I also LIVE to pick her up from daycare every day and spend every waking minute with her on the weekends!!

Ya know...not for nothing but I really truly and honestly feel that if I was a "popular LIF-er"  than this post would have been at least 2 to 3 pages -easily. I knew (with me posting it) it wasn't going anywhere... oh well.
This is my one true dislike of this board.
I know for a fact I am not the only one who feels this way....
So done..vent over.

I am FAR from perfect, I tend to be a yeller sometimes and can be a little short in the patience department, BUT I tell my children everyday how great they are, how proud I am of them and how much I love them no matter what. With that being said, I think I've done ok since my DS who is 17 will be graduating HS next month, received a nice scholarshio to college and will be playing football. He is a great kid if I say so myself.

It is very hard for me to give myself any sort of praise, but I will chime in because I don't want to upset the OP 
I look at my older son and he just amazes me every single day. He is so sweet and loving. He gives hugs and kisses all the time. His new thing is to say "I love ____" fill in the word with anything that he sees, or is doing at that time. "I love Mommy" "I love Jumping" "I love Cake" "I love Tyler" "I love Trucks" --- I am so happy that he is getting what it feels like to "love" something and believe that I taught him that since I tell him I love him a thousand times a day. He is so compassionate to others around him. If someone is crying, he too gets upset.
My baby Tyler, is really the happiest baby I have ever been in contact with. All you have to do is look at him and he starts to smile from ear to ear. And, his belly laughs, really bring tears to my eyes.
I am beyond blessed to be their mother. I hope they know that they are my world.

Well I've always adored you and if you want, I can respond to this thread one word at a time in separate posts but that would annoy this pi$$ out of people.
In any case, I am a good Mom because I consider Abby (and the unborn ) before I make almost every decision in my life. It can and does make a difference.

I have a hard time posting because I am very critical of myself but...
I am a good mommy because my DD has helped me learn patience, love and dedication. I try to do the right thing for and by her all the time, I love her with all my heart and show her constantly with hugs, kisses and words, and I am dedicated to doing and being everything she needs to grow up healthy and happy. And I'm pretty sure I'm doing a good job, because whenever she hears my voice or sees me after an absence, the biggest smile comes across her face and melts my heart.
I cannot believe she is mine. I feel truly blessed.

I always feel this way!
I'll play:
I'm a good mommy because I have a happy and healthy baby. She's always laughing & full of smiles. The daycare always tells me how happy of a baby she is and how great she is doing!

This is a great post!
I am a good mom because I snuggle and kiss my children all day long.
I teach them to have "good hearts" and we do family prayers and family hugs every night.
Every night we tell God thank you for each other and our home and we ask that he helps other children who are sick or sad.
Most importantly I try and reflect on myself as a mommy. If we had a bad day (me yelling and getting frustrated) I ask myself, "how could I have handled it better?"
