As I sit and wait for more info on both of our deals today-- I completely know where you are coming from!

We should definitely hear today on feedback on our offer as well as a counter on our place.... I know there is nothing I can do at this point, but i am just waiting for the phone to ring!!!

about a year ago we had an inspector come to the house...turns out she had a huge sewage/pipe problem...we were fine with it, we just wanted to bring OUR plumber in to see what the problem was exactly and how much it would cost, she refused, she wanted her plumber coming to fix it and us NOT being there...that killed the deal for us..we thought she was hiding something and there was a major problem she knew about and wanted to do a quick patch up job on it,and s c r e w us. It still kills me that we walked away, bc honestly i don't think it was a huge problem and the price of the house was a steal...but we had to do it bc g-d knows what we'd be in for if we moved in with a huge problem!

The first home we were going to buy - turned out to be a money pit according to our inspector. So we pulled out of the deal. Looking back we definitely made a good decision not buying the home. We ended up buying a bigger house that cost less and was move in ready. We didn't even need to paint.

Our seller backed out six (6!) days before closing. Mind you, we had sold our co-op, had an 18 month old and I was 9 months pregnant.

Seller wouldn't get a CO for the garage conversion and deck.
