Maternity/Newborn Shoot - Narrowed it down - Help me decide!
So I think I've narrowed down my choices for my Maternity/Newborn shoot to either Michelle McFadden or Summerlyn. I love their styles and their work is so great!!! Help me decide!!
If you've used someone else and LOVED them, please recommend them and share your pics!

How in advance are you booking? I am 7 weeks, if I wait till like 12 weeks will that be too late?

I contacted Michelle Mcfadden about maternity shoot and never heard anything back.. I guess I am going to try and contact others now

I'm using AvaJack. Love, love, love her work. I used her for my first PG maternity pics (in my album) and will be using her for maternity/newborn again this time around.

I already contacted Summerlyn--before I was 6 weeks! I felt crazy doing that but I know she books up in advance and saw on her site that she has limited availability in Dec/Jan.
I'm obsessed with her pics!

I'm actually looking into booking very soon - I'm 10w today. I hear that they book up really fast!! I think you will be good waiting til 12w!

I think its something you need to decide.
Both are good photographers but with different styles.
Its what you want..and look for in.
Either way, you cant go wrong.

Not sure what your budget is, but I think there is a huge price differential between Michelle McFadden and Summerlyn. Also, Summerlyn books fast, so you should contact her ASAP if she is one of your top choices.

Where would I be able to find their pricing? Can someone FM who's used either before?

I'm looking at using Jenna- she was an '08 bride- do you remember her Maria?
Anyway, she did a couple shoots with SummerLyn but her pricing is much less- I will send you her blog- I know she is working on updating it now

Agree. I've already set up for after this baby arrives. She did so good with my 2yo cranky pants DD last winter.
