Which baby carrier do you recommend?
We have the Bjorn but as mentioned in another post, I think it's getting snug with my 20 lb chunka!
I have a bad back too (bulging disk) if that makes a difference.
If you recommend the Ergo one... which one? I see some different ones on their website. Do they sell them at BRU?

I have the Maclaren one, and I really love it...DS was just almost 19lbs, at his 4 month, and it still works wonderfully. Weight limit is 25lbs..

I really like the Beco carrier. It was much easier on my back than the Bjorn.

Re: Which baby carrier do you recommend?
I have this one. organic black carrier
I got it for over half off from babysteals. I love it. I can carry my 20lb baby on the front or back. Plus I carry my 30lb toddler on my back. It never hurts my back, shoulders or knees. It has a hood to block the sun or to hold their head when they fall asleep. I also have a baby Bjorn and a Mayan ring sling. But I only use the Ergo now.
ETA: wt limit is 40lbs but it is tested through 90 lbs. I found out about it from a tourist at the Tanger outlets. He had his toddler on his back. He said they even tested it with his 100lb wife and it held her

Yes, but they can also ride on your back. I love my Beco--I was btwn the Ergo and the Beco, I picked the Beco because of the fact when I unclasp the bottom buckle the baby is still "in" in the Beco as opposed to the Ergo where they are not.

yeah front they can only face you. If they want to look forward they go on your back. There is also a way to carry them on your hip but I haven't tried it yet.
