I am going to SUNY Empire which is a great school and the degree is recognized because it is accredited. The website for the school is www.esc.edu, it is the same school that Beth is talking about. I was going to one of the schools that Beth mentioned for Art and a lot of employers would not recognize the degree, and now I am in back in school starting all over to get a new degree.

I would love to go to suny but they don't have the degree that I want which is fashion merchandising.

Ask around to people in the field. That's what it really depends on. If it's going to get you a job or not. It might not be the worst thing that it's not regionally accredited if you don't plan to go for a higher degree and your industry accepts it.

What about going for business, I would agree with Marymoon talk to some people in that field and find out what type of training or degree you need to get a job. Maybe you do not need the type of degree we are talking about. I would try to find out more info about the industry and what type of training you need. In the mean time why don't you take business classes at SUNY.

Here is a website I found for jobs in fashion, you best bet would be to look through the paper fot the type of job you want and see what requirements it asks for.

Thanks Everyone.
I decided it to give it a try there anyways.
I have looked at many job ads and it says 4 year degree.
the curriculum is the same like Fit, if I really had the time, i would go there instead but this is what works for me.
I'm going with my gut instinct.
