Anyone go from redhead to blonde?
I am natural blonde, but have been red for over a year...how hard was it to get "rid" of the red?

Can't the hairdresser do that.
I've been doing blonde for years. I'm a natural brunette and one day I decided to go back to brown. My hairdresser had to put a special wash in my hair that helps or does something with the bleach b4 she can do the brown.
Needless to say... I went back blonde a few months later and sticking with it. LOL

I've found that when jumping between colors, red is the hardest to truly get rid of. I've "covered" red with blond before, but instead of being able to maintain an ashy cool blonde, it always faded back to a golden/reddish blonde until it grew out. It is probably better to try and work with the reddish undertones rather than fight it if that works for you.

Yes, the haridresser is definitely doing it...i'd wind up pink, if I tried....
I just wanted to know if it would be a few processes of coming back, etc, or if it would be quick...i'll wind up staying red as always...lol

This is what I am doing. I went red in the fall and want to go to blond. I did very heavy highlights last time, and she said I would probably have to do that one more time and then I could do a single process.
