What happens if you end up in the hospital?
Is the care good?
i know this is highly irrational, but it's one of the fears i have that prevents me from booking a vacay in certain areas.

i try not to think about it.....
when i flew to Aruba for my HM i ended up with a really bad swollen leg after flying...I was freaking out - thinking I was having a blood clot or something...I was too afraid to go to the doctor or hospital there - so I just elevated it and didn't drink for 2 days just in case (and I consulted with a doctor in the fam)....I still have no idea why it happened - I think it had to do with being de-hydrated and the long flight and having my legs up on my seat...
hospitals/doctors out of the US freak me out....so i just pray i won't need one!

If you are in a tourist location - the hospitals are fine and the doctors are well qualified. Many of our doctors study outside the US and we don't know the difference.
