Those who are saving the cord blood....
Would anyone mind telling me how much it is?
I believe there is an inital collection fee (in the thousands) and an annual storage fee?
Also, if God forbid the blood is needed, do you think insurance would cover the procedures that a Dr. would do with that blood?
I highly doubt it.

inital costs around $1500-2000, storage $125yr starting in 2nd year and sometimes fee from your Dr for collection like $200

We use CBR
It's about the same for Viacord. The collection fee is different based on OB's...mine collected 350. from us.

I am using CryoCell and the inital fee is $995, which included the first year of storage. Storage after that is $125/year. I am not sure what my dr will charge to collect. I will find out soon enough.
