So, um...how long can she live on puffs and Cheerios?
My DD is refusing to eat!!!
This is a child who would eat ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING 2 months ago. All of a sudden, 75% of what I put into her mouth comes back out again.
She will only eat a few bites at each meal, and then I fill in with Cheerios and Puffs, two of the only things I KNOW she'll eat.
Is this tooth-related? Please tell me this is going to end at some point

I was reading about this in T. Berry Brazletons book and it said it normal. I don't remember the cause but, he said not push it. She will come around and turing it into a battle with make it worse.. at least that is what I remember. It was like 4 pages of the 1 year old section.

this is my 9 mo. olds diet some days too!!  I swear she would turn into a cheerio if she could!

Thanks  I haven't been forcing her--it's just frustrating--I'm obviously worried that she's not getting enough to sustain her.
But obviously, she's ok.
She's still drinking her milk like a champ, about 24 oz. a day.
My mom is constantly trying to force food into her mouth. It's so annoying.

Does she have any other favorite foods she will eat.
Jonah has gotten a lot pickier recently, but he'll always eat bread, waffles, or grilled cheese.
ETA: and pizza - he loves pizza.

Ethan is starting to get like that...only it cheerios and rice cakes.
He eats a lot at breakfast, less at lunch, and barely any dinner. But he still has his milk and is gaining weight, so I try not to worry. I sometimes wonder if it's teething related, but cheerios and rice cakes are hard, so wouldn't that hurt too?  Babies puzzle me sometimes lol.

DH's nephew only ate bread for close to a year. He is now a healthy 12 year old.

DS has also become much pickier in the past few months. There are a handful of things I know he'll eat, but stuff that he used to eat now gets spit out. It's definitely frustrating, but I try to offer the things he likes whenever he refuses to eat the other stuff.

DD went through a phase where all she would eat were cheerios and cheese.
She's back to eating normally now, but I know if I were to let her only have the cheerios and cheese she would be one happy little girl.
I definately think it's a phase.
