Vent Smoking related...
I went to this office to pick something up the other day, and just as I start getting closer to this man standing by the entrance he lights a cigarette and blows the smoke so that I have to walk right through it. So I waved my hand to blow the smoke away and walked in quickly.
I go up to the office and get what I came to pick up and head back downstairs to leave. When I get down stairs there's a women standing inside the really small lobby if you can even call it that, smoking a cigarette. 
Normally I would have said something but I was just trying to get out of there as fast as I could.
Since when is it ok to smoke inside a building like that?! I was so upset. Is it just me or would that make you mad?

that would make me mad either way. i use to smoke and im very sensitive to the smell. you should call the office and complain. i wouldnt have started either just would have gotten out of there asap.

It was GORGEOUS out today, so I don't even get why they would be inside smoking.
But I've had enough of smokers in general after today, so I'm probably not the best one to ask. I actually flipped out on some old hag today because she's smoking a cig and walking over trying to talk to my DS. I have a heart condition so I'm very sensitive to smoke period, and I swear these people who smoke don't care that what there doing is disgusting to everyone but them. Ok I'm going to stop ranting on your rant! sorry!
To bad you didn't have a little bottle of lysol or something to spray in the air as you were walking through, so they would get the hint lol.

i would be mad too!
whenever someone is smoking in a doorway or blocking an entrance that i have to walk thru i always make some snarky comment outloud like "oh my poor unborn child i'm so sorry that you have to inhale such toxins" - lol - it just makes me feel better.

in my office everyone smokes under the overhang, so it just lingers there adn you are forced to walk through it. it's so disgusting, I'm like don't these people feel bad there are several pregnant women walking through there clouds of smoke. Move away from the entrance!

Is there a law that you can't smoke within so many feet of an entrance to a public building?
If not there should be!!!

I don't know, but I agree. The second woman was actually inside the buiding smoking! The whole area was filled with smoke. I had to actually walk through a cloud, it was the only way out.
