I wont lie IT HURTSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. And it hurt for a couple of hours after that as well the first time. I felt really sore TMI I know but just being honest.
But OMG it is worth it!!!!!

Hurts but you can deal with it. The first time was worse. If you leave a landing strip may not hurt so much b/c that last little bit is the most painful IMO!

I voted "A little".
If you can take ibuprofen 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment, I recommend that. It definitely lessens the discomfort during and afterwards.

I was 7.5 months pregnant the first (and only) time I had one (and it wasn't my plan, the girl obviously didn't understand what I wanted) and it hurt like hell in the area I'd never had waxed before (if you know what I'm saying).

I agree - and I ask her to do this part FIRST, so I dont spend the whole time dreading it!
Wouldn't it hurt more bc the surrounding area wouldn't be ummm "clear"? lol.
I am building my nerves to get it done soon again.

This is exactly the way I felt! The woman that did mine was awesome because she just talked and talked and made me laugh. I honestly think the worst part for me was the "area" that you didn't realize she was going to wax. Let me put it this way...when she tells you to lay on your side and and bend your leg...thats the area I am talking about.

Ummm also you want to go to someone who does in 4-5 rips. I went once to this lady who did tiny little sections at once. I swear I wanted to beat her within an inch of her life. I actually ended the wax early! I couldn;t take it
