Any summer moms to be with small boats?
Will you be taking the boat out this summer?
I'm due in mid August and we have a 23ft fishing boat that we use to take to the beach.
It's gets really bumpy on the bay sometimes.
It would really suck if we couldn't go to the beach this year bc of me being PG, especially since my 2 yr old DS LOVES the beach.
What you are ladies planning on doing? Has anyone asked their OB yet?

my sister has a large boat - gets bumpy when going fast in open water. She always went out when pregnant.

We don't have a boat, but our friends have a 35ft cabin cruiser which we go out on several times during the summer while out in the Hamptons.
It's my favorite thing to do when out there. I plan on still going out on it. My girlfriend who owns it was on it while pregnant with both her children.

we have a boat. DH wants to take the boat out on memorial day. I'm to scared to go out to open ocean, maybe only to the bay.

i wouldn't worry...the ocean is sometimes calmer then the bay...especially the inlet

My DH is scared all the bumping around is going to make me go into labor which would NOT be good since we go to Fire Island and my hospital is in the city!!
