there are sooo many great looking hotels in lancaster pa! there are at least 5 that seem perfect for a family trip and i don't know which to choose bc everyone says how great their hotel was. so i'm just doing a poll and maybe there will be a hotel that surpases the rest.

my main requirements are large room or suite with:microwave/fridge if possible, an indoor pool/out door park would be great too.

thanks!

We are staying at Homewood Suites because of the kitchen area ( stove!!!) and becuse the King bedroom suite is only a few dollars more a night and has a door to the bedroom , so we can hang while the kids are asleep in the other room. They have an indoor pool too.

We really like Fulton Steamboat Inn too b/c of the outdoor area but the rooms looked too small for us .

I also heard good things about Eden resort but it was too high per night for us.

ETA- Also everyone RAVES about Willow Valley for kids, but they couldnt tell me if their construction would be done yet by the time were going and the tripadvisor reviews are awful regarding construction...so try calling them and finding out about that First. I called twice, they seemed clueless about if it was done. One person said construction was done, the other said in 6 months Chat Icon

thanks for all the info donna! i'm not used to there being so many good choices and i just can't decide which way to go. it seems like the choice is between a better room (the 2 suite hotels) or the more kid friendly places (the other 3). Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

We stay at the Eden resort. I love it there. Yes it's a little pricey but well worth it IMO.

We stayed at the Wingate in Lancaster. It was brand new. Rooms were really nice. Indoor pool. On that main strip near Dutch Wonderland.

We've gone three times to D.W. and all three times we've stayed at the Fulton Steamboat Inn. We like the indoor pool (there has been times it has rained and we were able to use the indoor pool). They also have a huge fish / duck pond where the kids can feed the fish / ducks, as well as an outdoor playground / ship the kids can play on.
