 Looking for a sofa bed
Can someone recommend a good place to get a deal on a sofa bed? I know IKEA has some cheap stuff. Looking for other options.
We want to place a sofa with a pullout bed in our master suite upstairs to make it into a guest room.
I would like something cheap if possible. Can I find something for under $500? Maybe something at a furniture outlet center?

Re: Looking for a sofa bed
I got my leather sofa bed at Jennifer's Convertibles for $700, so you could probably get a cloth one for less. It was a floor model, so I got it for almost 1/2 price.

Re: Looking for a sofa bed

Re: Looking for a sofa bed
We got ours from Jennifer Convertibles about 2.5 years ago and have had no problems. I think they also have pull out loveseats if space is an issue.

while you are there you can look in the macy's store as well - and in the back is the clearance section - usually with tons of sofas, I'm sure some are beds

Re: Looking for a sofa bed
There's a Castro sofabed in N. Bellmore up on nassau freecycle. You might want to join to see if they will send you pics of it.

Re: Looking for a sofa bed
There is a place on 110 called sofabed Etc. Right next to Jennifer Convertibles. I just bought a microfiber sofabed for my basement. I luv it!

Re: Looking for a sofa bed
How about a really nice futon. We got one in our guest bedroom / office. It is a Dark mahogony finish with a thick 8 inch mattress. It is very comfortable Scott

Re: Looking for a sofa bed
We also have a Jennifer Convertible Microfiber Sectional. Everyone who sleeps on it says it's the most comfortable pull out sofa they've ever slept on.
