I leave at 6 and come home at 6. Everyone at work does it so i am hopeful I can too. I am nervous but I hope that I can be strong and stick with it bc i want my child to have a different life than I did
I have the same schedule...
Lots of people at work do it & it works out... either with day-care or parents helping or nannies.
I enjoy work and love the fact that I don't have to give up my career to have a kid & visa-versa.
My mother and father worked and I would like the same for me & DH (we are in the same profession). My child has to understand that men & women are equal in this world.

When I commuted, I dropped DD off at 7-7:15 am and picked her up at 6:45pm.

I don't know how I'm going to do it,...but I will just have to do it...we need my income.
I commute to Wall St. everyday and am gone from 6:30am to 7:30pm. When I go back to work from maternity leave DH will be watching the babdy since he's a teacher and home for the summer. Then in Sept. when it's time for him to go back to work we'll be leaving out LO with a Nanny but she will be watching the baby at my parents house. We trust the nanny as she is almost like part of the family...but there is added comforta that she will be watching him at my parents.
