we got our bedroom set from raymour flannigan and we are very happy.

we got our living room couches from ashleys and we are very happy.

we got our living room endtables and coffee table and media table from pier 1 imports and we are very happy.

we got our dining room table, chairs and side board from bobs and we very very unhappy.

we have had the furniture for just less than 1 year.

We have 2 couches and our bedroom set from Bobs. The bedroom set and 1 couch are about a year old and one couch is brand new. All are very nice and seem to be made well. I'm happy so far. Especially bc the price was right for our budget.

Living Room Sectional - Macys - happy with it...

Dining Room Table - Ikea - happy with it - not sure how it would hold up if we used it daily but it's more for show and for when we entertain a lot of people which is not very often...

Dining Room Chairs - Ikea & World Market - happy with them - same as above, they aren't used very often

Kitchen Table & Chairs - Target - happy so far - looks like a set I loved from Crate & Barrel but much less expensive

Bed, Mattress and Armoire - Rooms to Go - love the style of the furniture but the quality is questionable, we had some issues with them and ended up getting $$ back (which we had to really fight for)

Family Room Furniture - Levitz - I think they are out of business now, but still happy with them - the couches are a few years old but still comfy and they still look good...

Raymour and Flannigan for my bedroom and Living Room Furniture.

Pottery Barn for all my Den Furniture and office furniture.

I am very happy with both companies and the product.

Bedroom Set- Macys- Waiting for delivery but I love it

Dinning Room Set- Macys- Love it- Got it about a month ago now..

Living Room Couches- Macys- Love it- Have them for 2 years now.

Living Room and Den Coffee and side Tables- Peter Andrew's, Brand is Ashley- Love it- Living room table for 1 year and den-1 year

Den sectional- Lazy Boy- Love love love it!- A little over a year

Entertainment Unit- Raymour and Flanigan- I love the look of it but the quality is alright. We had to have it delivered 3 times before we got one without any damages to it.- almost 2 years

Kitchen Table- I can't remember the name of the store, but its in New Hyde Park, across from McDonalds. Love it- 2 years

We've bought from Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, Raymour and Flanigan, Macys, Pottery Barn, Sears, JCPenney, Ikea, Netshops.com, Home Decorators.

In that order, they are what we liked the best to the least. Some of that stuff you should expect to be flimsy, like the last 2. We try not to buy "disposable" furniture with the intention of chucking it in 2-4 years but the last 2 were just a bench seat and a file cabinet. We probably will keep them a long time, since they don't get used much anyway so quality is not a huge concern.

Formal Living Room - couches, end tables & coffee table - Bobs pretty happy with it. We've had it a year and a half.

Den - chaise couch, end table, coffee table & TV stand/table - Bobs. Love the couch but not so crazy about the end table and coffee table. We've gotten a lot of chips in the two and it's not like we're slamming stuff down on them. We had these pieces about a year and a half.

Dining room table & chairs - Raymour and love it. Had it about 5 months.

Master bedroom - Bobs - not crazy about it.

I think going forward we'd buy only couches from Bobs and the other stuff from Raymour.

we've only had things for 2 months since we recently bought our house, but so far so good.

dining room set & living room couches/coffee tables - raymour & flanigan - very happy with quality and service

entertainment center - the place - regret - not great quality or service

Raymore and Flannagan, I am ok with it, quality of it is good, but I wish I would have spent the money on more eclectic pieces. Its too contemporary for me.

we invested in Direct Buy b/c we literally had to fill the entire house we Saved tons of money and got top notch furniture we can eventually give our children

ETA: We bought....Kincaid Furntire had it for about a year and half. Love it

Raymour and Flannigan for our bedroom set and mattress and a couch in one of our living rooms. They are great and have great customer service !
The Place for leather couches in my DH "mans den"... not so great. Nice couches but they took forever and a day to deliver ! Good thing we didn't need right away.
And the rest of my furniture was either vintage or inherited.

Ethan Allen, Overstock, Homegoods, Ikea, Bellini, and Raymoore & Flannigan. Happy with all, it has been over a little over 2 years.

I've purchased a sectional sofa and coffee & end table from Bare Boards in Bohemia and their service is terrific. As a PP said though, it's the manufacturer that dictates the quality of the furniture, not the store unless it's their own brand like Lazy Boy. We purchased our dining room set (Drexall Heritage) from Furnitureland South (on-line) and we were very happy with the service and the quality.
