Need Comforter Set Inspirations...
I am painting my bedroom a slate blueish color...more on the blue side than the grey side. The ceiling and trim will be white. My furniture is an oak color.
I need bedding inspiration!! One thing to note is that I have a golden retreiver that sleeps with us and lays on my bed all day until I get home from work. A darker bedspread will be fine but a lighter one will hide his hair inbetween washings.

BTW...I LOVE the one from West Elm but I am not so sure about it being a duvet. In the past, the comforter in the duvet always moves around and annoys the crap outta me but if anyone finds a duvet and a simple solution to the shifting problem that would be awesome!

they sell these things that help the duvet stay in place. like your dog, mine sleeps on my bed often, so I can't have a comfoter because I was mine mine almost weekly!!
I just painted my bedroom a color just like that and I have a duvet thats base color is white with tan trin and then a brown square in the middle

check out my master bedroom album. We have a light slate blue room with dark furniture. I have a couple of different comforters and duvets in the pictures.
And I believe BBB sells these things so that the duvet stays in place in the duvet cover.
