Need help/advice/feedback on a frame and picture location

So after over 4 years of marriage, I've decided I need to frame my wedding picture and hang it up. I was thinking since it's an 11x14 that I would put it in my bedroom above my bed. Most of the finishes in my room are bronze/gold so I chose frames that would match. Please tell me what frame you think the picture looks better in and also if it looks nice over my bed.

Frame #1- larger and the picture is matted (I didn't actually put it in the frame- just laid it on top for now

This is kind of what it looks like above the bed (don't mind hubby in his pjs!)

Frame #2- 11X14- it has more gold than bronze

External Image

This is what it looks like above the bed

This is the rest of the room. Please feel free to offer any suggestions on room placement. Please don't mind the messy room- it was late and we were getting ready for bed!

I voted for #1 since its larger. I think #2 is too small comapred to the bed board. Chat Icon

Number 1 but I still don't think it's big enough to balance the bed. What about, after #2 comes, doing a 5x7 or 8x10 of each child around it?

Thanks for the feedback. I truly appreciate it. I was thinking that if the picture is in the center of the bed, I would put 2 other pictures (of what I don't know) above the end tables. Would that balance it out?

ITA - even if the frames stay empty until you find something to put in them. I think they should remain within the width of the headboard, not over the nightstands.

i actually like frame #2 better, but it is definitely too small for the area. i would say to possibly put a smaller picture on either side of it, still above the headboard though. do you have any other "romantic" wedding pictures to keep the theme, that you would want to frame?

Thanks for all the suggestions!

So you think I should put the pic of us in the center and then have 2 smaller ones (maybe 8x10 since the frame is 16x20) on either side?

I like #1 - I don't know what I would do.

Maybe some ladies who are good with photoshop can photo shop smaller pics on either side or maybe some picture ledges or shelves on either side?

I like the 1st frame with the mat. But I don't think I would put it over the bed. It just seems too small for that area.
I would probably but it on the wall with the small door (I think it's a closet). Maybe even on a picture shelf with some small accent pcs.

And over the bed I would put something bigger. Maybe a 2 or 3 piece set of canvas art. Or something along those lines.

Or your own family pictures laid out something like this
