Please recommend your baby carrier
So Luca will be one month tomorrow (unbelievable) and I've been thinking about a carrier. My in-laws live 2 blocks away and we are back and forth all the time. So far we have mostly used the car b/c of the weather but on a few nice days we used the carriage and it is a pita for me. We have about 5 steps in front and cats so I have to close the door, bring the carriage down, and then come back for the baby. Of course we will use it for long walks, trips places, etc, but to get to my mil's a few blocks I think a carrier would be easier.
I am considering Lillebaby and Ergo type carriers (not slings). Please recommend yours. I know some face out and others only in, etc. and I just don't know what to get!!
TIA ladies

I love my Mei Tai Wrap, so does DS. It is so versatile and can be used with any size baby.

I didn't buy the Beco carrier until DS was 7 months old, but I love it. You can use it with a newborn, infant or toddler. One of my friends is using a Moby wrap with her newborn and seems to like it. I've also heard great things about the Mei Tai Babyhawk carrier.

Re: Please recommend your baby carrier
I went through a few. I had the ergo and returned it because I thought it was very bulky. Then got the Lillebaby because I liked that the baby could also face outward. That one is OK, but I find that it gets a little uncomfortable for me after a while and DS doesn't like facing inward in it. I finally wound up getting the Beco Butterfly and love it.

I swear by Ergo but did not like the fact that he could not face outward.

I have the ergo sport because it isn't as Bulky and it is breathable. DD loves it and falls asleep from the motion. We are both comfy! Some facing out positions can actually be bad for the baby.
