Yeah...I came in right at the end of them talking about it.....it almost sounds like today is his last day.....something must have went amuck somewhere.......

I heard it too. I think it's something medical but they didn't say. The way he was talking about appreciating everyday made me think that he might be battling something.

Just heard the end of the show and it does seem its his last day. He was not in on Friday and now this? I wonder what really happened. He said to look for him other places because he will be doing something else.

He has been on the show since I was a kid. I believe he is in his 70s. Maybe he wants to retire.

My gut is telling me this is probably all contract related. His contract might have been up, he wanted more money and "they" weren't willing to give it to him. We all know how that story goes.......

Def something is up. He never said he was retiring. He is in his early 70s. He sounded somewhat bitter and it just sounded like something happened. Also he never mentioned Elvis. He mentioned that he liked to work with Greg and Carolina and something about Danielle but nothing about anyone else..Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh he also said if it were up to me I would have been carried out of this place but it seems that is not going to be the case (paraphrasing that)

You can go online and listen to his speech
he did say that he was not retiring
and he did thank Elvis for his generosity
I find it very odd that he leaves the same day that they announce it.
