Technically, it is a slur. If someone said it in front of my father, he would throw him/her out of his house LOL his own children included.

Well, I looked it up on Urban Dictionary, and "ginny" is acceptable, I've just never seen it like that.
I was  and said to myself maybe it is someone who drinks a lot of gin?
Then it clicked when I looked it up.
