monitor RAVE!
we bought a monitor today, my sister said to go with the Summer brand. When we were at BBB, the salesperson suggested a digital monitor over analog since we are in a condo with other children in surrounding units. Analog monitors are known for interference. This one is video/audio and it is INSANE. It has zoom, pan, scan etc. and is so clear, also night or day settings (night-vision and color video). I have it sitting on DS's crib looking into the crib and I can pan the entire room - from my room on the other side of the house. It also has re-chargable batteries (though im sure we will probably just leave it plugged in). Its pricey ($229) but we had a coupon which saved about $45, totally worth it!

I think I am going to exchage the one I got for this one....I didnt realize that there was a digital handheld one when I registered but someone already bought ours. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the review Karin!!! I registered for the Levana digital video monitor and received it, but I had been thinking of exchanging it for this one! I think I might go ahead and exchange it.

This is the one I have for DD and LOVE it.
The only problem I've ever had with it, is that sometimes the picture freezes, and you have to turn it off and back on again. I remember one time I got so freaked out when I saw DD sleepiing in the crib, but yet she was playing in the play room right next to me! 
It's only happened 2 or 3 times to me over the past 13 months.
Other than that, I haven't had any issues with it at all.

Good to know. I registered for a similar one but it's the Summer Slim and Secure Handheld.
Pretty much the same thing though.
It got good reviews- glad to hear you like yours too!
