POLL - DH wants to go to a concert - which date

DH really, really wants to go to a concert this summer for his favorite band.

There are 2 possible dates and locations he can go to.

1 - 8/16 at Jones Beach- my EDD is 8/15 but I will most likely be having a repeat C-Section around 8/9. This would mean that I would be 1 week PP recovering from a c-section, with a 2 yr old also. But, it is just one night alone, hopefully he would be back by 1-2AM.

2 - 6/26 in Saratoga - we would make a weekend trip of this, stay at SIL' condo in Vermont with another couple & their 2 kids. DH and his friend will go to the concert for the night, while friend's wife and I will hang with the kids for the evening, and then we would spend the rest of the weekend together. I will be 7 mos preggo at this time. The problem is while I can tolerate the wife, I don't necessarily love her and spending a whole weekend with them is kinda eh to me.

I would stay home and have DH go to the concert at jones Beach - it's only one night and you don't have to give up your entire weekend!

I would have said Saratoga but if you're not a fan of the wife, I'd just do Jones Beach.

Hmm.. I vote Saratoga.. this way it just relieves any stress of it being around your due date!

I vote for Saratoga because a recoup of a C section along with a 2 year old and a newborn even for one night, sounds like too much to me (unless your mom could come over and stay the night to help?)

I say Jones beach and have someone help you the few hours he is away
