bobs furniture

can you share your experience with bob's furniture? I noticed their furniture is priced great but just concerned about the quality.. tia!

Re: bobs furniture

i have a dresser from them, no issues yet!

Re: bobs furniture

we got our dining room set from them.

less than 1 year into it, the chair legs come loose all the time and the side board is coming apart.

we got the goof proof package, so they will fix the damage.

i will never buy from there again... all this just to save $$$....

Re: bobs furniture

I think it depends on what you get. I have two recliner couches from there that are fantastic. Microfiber cleans easy, the recliners work great and really comfy. I have a coffe table from there and a couch in my basement and both are pieces of crap. The couch ripped almost right away and the coffee table is falling apart. Not sure I would purchase from them again.

We just got a dining room set and china cabinet from Gothic cabinet craft that was inexpensive. It is all real wood and very good quality esp for the price. I am extremely happy with the table and chairs. Not a fan of the hardware that they have to close the doors on the china cabinet. I wish they were magnetic but they are metal spring clips instead. I will prob just buy new hardware at lowes or HD to replace it.

Re: bobs furniture

i wouldnt get something from there that gets heavy use.. like dining set or bedroom set.

we just got a tv stand from there and its really nice. the delivery service was horrible. they were supposed to call, never did and they showed up at 7 am when they said mid afternoon.

i would order again but it definitely depends on the piece.

Re: bobs furniture

our full master bedroom set is from Bobs, purchased spring 2008 and its still in perfect condition! great quality, GREAT price and we get so many compliments on it!

we also got a kitchen table/chairs from there for our nook and we love them too!

Re: bobs furniture

Our DS's furiniture is from there and so is our living room furniture. The LR furniture is "OKAY" it is sinking and three of the four recliners broke. We have the Goof Proof protection plan and are in the process of having it replaced. But DS's furniture is AMAZING!!!

Re: bobs furniture

Our bedroom furniture set is from Bob's, purchased in July 2007. We have had no issues with it and are pleased with the quality for the price.

Re: bobs furniture

we have a dining table from there and side tables and 2 coffee tables. 2 side tables are good. dh knocked into coffee table and veneer strip has come apart. my dining room table is fine except for something i did.

Re: bobs furniture

We bought an entire living room set from them: sofa, loveseat, coffee table and two end tables.

The couches are HORRIBLE. They have sink holes from where we sit and the microfiber is sooo cheap that it started to look old and shabby in 5 months of use.

The coffe table and side tables I have no problem with... BUT I think they are in good condition because they are "untouched furniture".. they dont get use.

Overall, I would never buy from them again. I'd rather spend a little more $$ but have better quality.

Re: bobs furniture

i love our couches, coffee table and end tables in our living from bobs. holding up well and sooo comfy!

we also bought our bedroom set and although it's not the best quality, it's doing it's job and i don't have any complaints.

they did bring us the wrong end table for our bedroom set and we had no problems getting it taken care of with customer service and their delivery guys were good as well.

Re: bobs furniture

We have a bedroom set from there which we really like.

I have a coffee and end tables from there as well, although I like them, they scratch really easily. I have goof proof as well so I need to get them replaced/fixed.

Re: bobs furniture

We have a dining set from them and we are very happy with it. We've had it for 3 years and no problems.
