Can anyone recommend a vacuum?
I received a vacuum at my shower which stopped working after using it twice. We had it repaired and it worked for a few months and now once again it decided to stop working. We want to get a new vacuum but I am not sure which kind to get. It has to be something good for pet hair. I'm not sure if I want to go with another upright vacuum or switch to a canister. Any recommendations would be helpful.
Thanks

The Rainbow. I've had it for a while and love it (cleaning wise). It's excellent for those that have pets and allergies. I am not a fan of canister vacuum's, however I've learned to live with it.

I've never heard of it, is that the model or the brand? If you say its good with pets and allergies I defintely want to look into it.

The Rainbow is a brand. They are very expensive, however will last you a lifetime. The vacuums themsevles come with a 30year warranty. For us, the cost of the vacuum made sense. I went through 3 vacuums and one steam cleaner in 6 years. http://www.rainbowsystem.com/rainbowsystem/main/?gclid=CJ_RkuWRw6ACFQaU7QodVG1oeA
There are no bags, water is used to trap the dust. My floors are always clean. The suction is insane and never dies or lessens while in use like most vacuums do. I know there are a few other ladies on here that have them so maybe they could give their comment on it.
