I always used to get highlites but I cant afford it right now.
I started dying it brown from the box but it fades so much and turn reddish. Everyone says oh ur hair looks so red today. I dont want it to look red, I hate red!!!
I am wondering if I went to the salon and they dyed it brown for me, would it really make a difference?

Yup. Did it myself a few times and it always turned ashy on the bottoms very quickly. Get it died a nice warm brown at the salon and never turns red or ashy at all. Lasts a really long time too. Its been over 3 months since I did it the last time and still going strong.

YES!!!.. Salon dye has less ammonia/peroxide so the results (IMO) are diffrent and last a lot longer.
Less fading if you use color treated hair products and wash hair less.
So worth the $$ ($40-$60)
