X-Post: AC Unit
We have a large AC unit in the kitchen that we need to keep until we can afford central air. Did anyone build a cabinet around their unit or have a crafty way to hide it when it's not in use? It's such an eye-sore!
Thanks!

When we moved ours when redoing our kitchen, the contractor put moulding around it. It looks nicer than just sitting in the wall.

Yes we do but I still consider it an eye-sore.
DH told my dad what he wanted & my dad built it.
I can take photos tonight if you promise to keep in mind that IT WAS NOT MY IDEA.

We have molding around the one in our bedroom and will be putting molding around the one downstairs.
