how to get rid of a realtor?

need advice on how to "break up" with a realtor... this one realtor for many months had been showing us different homes if i asked him to. we never signed a contract with him. he wasn't much of a realtor and just showed us houses upon my request (like whatever came out on listingbook that i wanted to see i'd email him about) and when we did want to place an offer, made us feel like we had to always overbid in order to get the home. Fast forward and we met this other realtor who we really like and so far has shown us a house that we hope to go into contract to soon. The old realtor guy is still e-mailing me though w/ regards to asking if i'd like to see anything/interested in anything. How do i word it that i don't need his services? i feel bad since he's shown us houses for all those months when i asked. TIA!!

I would just write him back and tell him that you have stopped looking for now and thank him for all of his help so far. Hopefully he will go away. If you didn't sign a contract with him, then you really don't have to explain yourself.Chat Icon
