Is this an OCD toddler thing or smarts??
Ryan is using his blocks while I nurse Colin. I just looked over and he has a high tower all color-coordinated - each level is grouped together based on color. I watched him for a few minutes - if he reached in and got a color from his bucket, that was on the bottom of his tower, he would break the tower apart and add that color with its group.
He will be 2 in a few wks.

dd is neurotic too...she still does similar things at three (or perhaps they are brilliant!! )
