Ugh ugh ugh ugh
A couple weeks ago DH and I ordered a dishwasher from Sears. It was supposed to come last Saturday, but because of the storm, the installer could not pick it up on Friday (I assume the warehouse was closed on Sat.) We understood, but sort of thought that they should have picked up the dishwasher on Thurs. since we all knew the storm was coming.
Anyway. They rescheduled for today between 12 and 4.
AND they never showed. No phone call, nothing. I spent a lovely afternoon in the house with my daughter waiting for these idiots who never showed. They even called yesterday to confirm. We called Sears and they can't really do anything. We have used them a few times before with great results. So disappointed.

Oh no, that's awful!
We're supposed to be getting a dishwasher delivered from them tomorrow, I hope they show up.

Did you call sears delivery or the store? Someone should be able to do something to accomodate you for this.

Absolutely. Even though they use outsourced delivery people, they will still accommodate you.

Absolutely. Even though they use outsourced delivery people, they will still accommodate you.
We called them yesterday. They tried to get in touch with the installer (as did we) and they were unable to.) As of today we have still heard nothing from them. Sears did offer to send another installer but didn't say when. DH and I both work so Saturdays are the only option for us. I feel badly because I am going away today to a conference and DH will have to deal with dishes while caring for our child, which is not a huge deal but still an additional thing to do. I am going to call them before I leave.

my mom waited all day for sears to deliver her stove a couple months ago, they never freakin showed!!!!!! what's wrong w/these people

I just called the Installation #- they said to call back during "normal business hours" but didn't state what they were. Not even sure if anyone will be there today. I'm tempted to cancel the order altogether.
