Re: bamboo shades
I don't know if they do, but you can always call the store you want to go to and see. I imagine they would though with bamboo being so popular

Re: bamboo shades
I saw them (in person) at Target, BBB and The Christmas Tree shops when I was looking last year. I wound up buying them at BBB with a coupon but the ones at Christmas Tree Shops were MUCH cheaper and just as nice - they just didn't have the size I needed. They did have different colors, etc.

Re: bamboo shades
JCPenny, Target & BBB def. have them in the stores. It all depends on the size you need for your window though. The stores carry standard sizes more. What size in the window?

Re: bamboo shades
i went to a site JldDolphin suggested and ordered a few free samples of bamboo...I am thinking of putting bamboo in our bedroom for extra privacy (even though our view is the woods after 6 months i am starting to get a little paranoid about privacy and want a little something more than just the curtains for at night when our tv or light is on just to deter someone from looking in if they happened to be in the woods )...
my sizes aren't standard - it's sliders and a tall window so that is why i didn't go the HD, Lowes, Target, Walmart route...
the site i went to was blinds.com - the samples were totally free, no shipping so it can't hurt to try right?

and check out yourblinds.com also. Pretty much the same looking stuff, but they have different colors to choice from. Worth the free samples. I believe you can get 10 for free. They are just small squares, but it helped us pick a color.

Re: bamboo shades
i have a 47" window. i bought 48" from HD because we "think" it will fit, however the length is 72" but we don't have that length> is that a problem? we planned on hanging the shades higher than the window.
What do you think, will it work???

OK, so you are doing outside mount. So 1/2 inch over on each side of the window. If I remember your pics, the cabinets are right next to the window right? I awesome you have the room to hang thing, pluse put up molding.
I would def hang higher to help out with the 72" but I think it will be ok. You will just have extra material sitting at the bottom when you close the shade. It's a roman shade or a roll up shade?
