What do you use for a wallet?
I have had the same wallet for about... ohhh... 5 years now! I love it.
It is big - fits all my cards checkbook, change, has extra zippers for things... It can weigh like 11 pounds with all my crap in it and still hold up.
The thing is, though, she looks like she is begging for retirement. I bought it with my grandma, so I'm heartbroken about looking for a new wallet, but I think it's time...
Can anyone here recommend a good wallet that will step up and take over the back breaking task of holding everything that I own in plastic?

I'm actually ready to downsize my wallet. It takes up a lot of space for having PAPER and thin slices of plastic in it. I'm ready to go back to a coin purse and my old cigarette tin. (I didn't smoke, just loved cigarette tins!)

I actually use a small Coach wristlet as a wallet! I love that I can just grab it and go if I don't feel like bringing my whole purse.

I have a small coach wallet that fits everything and fits in all my purses (Except wristlets. Then I use a coach skinny).

That I LOVE
And my sister bought me a funky pink patent zip around from Coach for Christmas ........
Love them both b/c they're long

I have a Marc Jacobs wallet that I've been using for the past 4 years or so. I love it but I don't think it's still available. I'm thinking about getting this LV wallet that is very similar in the amount of cards it can hold and has a zippered coin compartment like my MJ wallet. Image Attachment(s):

My wallet is pretty big too, but it doesn't hold a checkbook. I am looking to downsize, but i picked soemthing up in a hurry at Centruery 21 the other day & then realized it is prettymuch the same as the won I have, it just seemed smaller w/o all my crap!
Still looking. . .
Not sure if I should get one without a change pruse or fewer card slots. My aunt has a separate wallet jsut for cards (she has a ton) but I'm am afraid I'd lose track if I had separate wallets.

i have this one and i love it..it's amazing!!
i switch between that one and a black leather kate spade wallet that zips

I made a decision about a year ago that I wasn't going to carry all of my credit cards/store cards/discount cards around anymore. So I whittled down to my top 10 and got a smaller wallet. I plan to get some kind of coin purse also once I find one I love.

It fits a ton of stuff minus the checkbook. I got it at the Deer Park outlet over a year ago for $50! Many brands sell the same style too.

I have the larger vera bradley zip around wallet and I love it, sometimes Im on the go and rushing around and i can just shove my things in it and zipper it shut and nothing falls out, theres room for a checkbook and plenty of cards and nice zipper pocket on the outside where i keep coins and whatever cards i use the most...

I HATE WALLETS. They are bigger than most handbags and weight about 15 Lbs. Such a waste of volume to accomodate CC and $$ bills.
So, I have something like that in black leather. I put my CCs in it and fold my $ bills in half. There a small sipper in the back side. I put a few coins in it.
It forces me to keep only the essential.
